About
PBHA’s Harvard Muslim Youth Program (HMYP) pairs high school students (ages 14-17) with college-aged mentors for spiritual engagement and self-empowerment. In addition to taking field trips, the program teaches students techniques for academic success in a variety of subject areas and helps mentees to navigate the college admissions process. HMYP aims to foster meaningful relationships between college mentors and high school students through the exploration of shaping identity in the United States. The program focuses particularly on empowering the youth in the Cambridge and Greater Boston areas.
