About
Harvard Synapse is a new student-run chapter of Synapse, a national nonprofit organization that provides a powerful social support network for individuals with brain injury through the facilitation of peer support groups and a one-on-one volunteer buddy program.
Mission
Providing an inclusive environment for undergraduates and members of the TBI community to foster meaningful relationships and partake in constructive discussions about neuroscience and brain injury.
What they do
- Undergraduate Neuroscience Journal Club
- Monthly peer support group meetings for individuals with brain injury
- Buddy program pairing individuals with brain injury with students
- Synapse Speaker Series
- Community events such as brain injury symposiums and neuroscience conferences
