The Housing Opportunities Program (HOP) mitigates housing insecurity and advances housing justice in the Greater Boston Area. HOP helps people stay in housing through the dissemination of micro-grants. HOP offers direct financial support in the form of back rent for clients in the PBHA community facing eviction or at risk of facing eviction. HOP promotes structural change by increasing awareness of housing justice and supports the work of mission-aligned community groups at and beyond Harvard through advocacy and volunteer organizing.
